2027 Alumni Awards Nomination Process

Thank you for considering a nomination for the 97th Annual Alumni Awards. Your participation is vital in recognizing exceptional alumni in our six award categories. To nominate a candidate, you will need to provide a compelling 350-word case for support. Here is an overview of the timeline and the nomination process:

To nominate a candidate for the 2027 Alumni Awards, please provide the following essential information about your nominee:

Nominee's Basic Information: 

• Full Name:                                                                                               
  • Contact Information:
  • School/Major:
  • Graduation Year:
  • Nominee's Achievements and Contributions: A concise statement (less than 350 words) highlighting the nominee's exceptional achievements, contributions, and relevant criteria for consideration, such as impact, leadership, innovation, and service.

    Nomination Timeline:  

•  March, 1, 2026: Alumni Awards open for nominations. The 2027 Alumni Award nominations are open to all CU Boulder alumni, faculty, staff and students.
• May, 31, 2026: Round 1 nomination deadline. 
• Mid-June 2026: Alumni Association staff will contact you to inform you whether your nominee will advance to the next round for consideration. Nominee finalists from Round 1 will be asked to submit additional materials.
• July, 1 2026: Round 2 Nominations Open
• July 31, 2026: Final materials for Round 2 nominations due
• Mid August 2026: Alumni Awards Committee selects 2027 Alumni Award recipients.
• End of August 2026: Award winners notified.
